Occupational Violence & Aggression in Australia Training

Occupational Violence And Aggression Training courses prevent harm. Most organiations have policies and procures and we can certainly incorporate these into the workshop. But this training is the next level approach. It’s running your people through instances that occur in your sector. The scenarios are very specific and tailored.

To ensure the safety of your staff and customers, your team should have a thorough understanding of how to deal with workplace violence

We provide Occupational Violence And Aggression Training designed by organisational psychologists and SMEs to assist employees to have a heightened awareness of the potential for violence in the workplace. Key elements include employee skills training for de-escalating conflict, learning how to deal with angry people, bullying, threats, intimidation and complaint handling training.

Occupational Violence Awareness Tailored Training Course

Ideally, we’ll deliver a tailored occupational violence awareness  inhouse course. We’ll address known risks, and then we’ll throw in some hypothetical risks that you may not have considered. For example, a machete attack was not a common risk in the 2010s. But alas, hardware stores sell them now. Who would have thought there would be so much bamboo growing in the cities and towns across Australia for such a demand on machetes?

The tailored occupational violence workshop is higly recommended.

Course Description

As we know, violence can happen anywhere. Sometimes there are telltale signs that violence is about to occur, and sometimes spontaneous violence occurs almost at random. This course gives participants practical psychological tools and tips to use when a situation escalates. The last module includes strategies to use after a violent incident has occurred. The course will bring participants up to date with existing legislation and legal responsibilities in this area. This course is a lesson in the psychology of avoiding violence, and it is not a self-defence course. The course is designed to keep violence at bay and give you psychological response ideas to try to nullify the danger.
