Preferred Training Networks now has 6 offices in Australia. This enables us to use local accredited trainers and facilitators.

1. A large Council asked us to help them create a Capability Framework for their Co-ordinators. Through a consultative process, we developed a Capability Framework with learning programs mapped. This process involved developing learning programs for 4 groups of 15 participants over a 3 year period. The learning programs involved key design and development as well as pre and post activities. The learning programs were designed to be a mixture of half and full day programs and covered 10 different topics. An example of these include:
   • Breaking down communication silos
   • Strategic Thinking and Planning
   • Delegation Skills
   • Workplace Resilience
2. We have had a continuing relationship with a leading NFP for many years. We have run many of their learning programs across Australia as well as being involved in developing videos, digital assets, presentations, facilitator guides and participant workbooks. Last year we were asked to design and develop a series of videos for their learning and development platform. This process involved a multi stakeholder consultation process to agree on  scripting, producing and delivering a series of videos. These video's were 5 minutes in duration and were mapped to their capability framework.
   
   
3. A Financial Services company asked us to develop a series of modules for their team leaders. We developed these modules through a consultation process with our client. The client wanted each module to be linked through pre and post activities and be run as short modules in 3 of their Australian offices. The programs were designed with scenarios and relevant activities for participants to engage in. An example of these included:
   • Assertiveness Skills
   • Influencing and Persuasion Skills
   • Managing People
   • Making Group Presentations
4. A very regional organisation in QLD asked us to conduct a week of training for their staff. We designed and developed a series of short and sharp sessions incorporating 2 hour, 3 hour and lunchtime sessions. An example of the programs that we developed included:
   • Making staff accountable
   • Leading and managing at our council
   • Avoiding miscommunications
   • Leading by example
   • Dealing with difficult internal and external people
   • Working with change
   • Managing outdoor staff and contactors
5. A global health  body asked us to run a webinar for their staff around the area of Adaptive Leadership. This 45 minute session was conducted utilizing Go To Meeting. This session was run for 30 of their staff who were invited to attend the webinar as part of their professional development. This was recorded and kept onsite for other participants to access when necessary.
