Case Studies Snapshot
Preferred Training Networks provides learning solutions across a wide range of industries. Here is a snapshot of some examples of these learning solutions as well as the industries.
Legal Industry
A top law firm was getting multiple calls from clients trying to push down prices during the GFC. The clients were agitated and scared of the GFC and would often vent at the partners. The law firm wanted to show empathy but they simply couldn’t just halve their fees as sometimes requested. Preferred Training Networks designed a program entitled “How to deflect client anger without buckling under pressure”
Duration: Half day program.
Outcomes: Participants offered other concessions instead of immediately offering to reduce fees.
Construction Company
A medium sized construction company asked us to organise some soft skills for their 2 day conference. The briefing was to give their team a break from product and technical information and give their people some key people skills development.
Duration: 5 x 2 hour key note speakers, subjects included Time Management, Work/Life Balance, How to spot negative emotive behaviours and Negotiating better outcomes.
Outcomes: Participant feedback was excellent and a behavioural change was identified. We now organise their conference topics.
Accounting Firm
This accounting firm invests heavily in developing their people. Any training must be of the highest quality and learning transferred easily into the workplace. We are delighted to provide a large percentage of their full day training programs.
Duration: 12 x full day programs annually how to increase billable hours, Graduate induction, Negotiation skills and Presentation skills.
Outcomes: This client was delighted with our seamless approach with zero errors.
Pharmaceutical Company
This pharmaceutical company had a relationship with a training broker. They really liked the facilitators but were struggling with unnecessary processes. They wanted a single point of contact to coordinate and develop over 20 high quality programs every year.
Duration: Full day programs and half day programs.
Outcomes: Company is delighted, all systems are client focussed and the client has one point of contact who is accountable for organising the entire service delivery.
Not For Profit Organisation
Not for Profits often have reduced spending power for training. This NFP wanted to ensure the quality of its training did not drop as it needs the highest calibre of training to maintain excellent relationships with its stakeholders. The annual budget was disclosed and we were asked to be innovative with the value offerings.
Duration: Full day programs and half day programs.
Outcomes: We negotiated new deals with some of our network. We conducted the training on less busy days Mondays and Fridays and we ran consecutive half day programs as different topics. The result was more value for money for this client.
